9th Annual P50 Center Retreat – October 27, 2023

The 9th Annual Retreat for the P50 Center for Genetic Studies of Drug Abuse in Outbred Rats was a success! The Retreat was held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the University of California San Diego.

Thank you to all who attended in person and remotely on Zoom! We hope you found the talks informative and made connections with new HS rats/GWAS colleagues.

A special thank you to Palmer Lab members who helped with the preparations for audio/visual, seating, signage, research posters, and the tables for ID lanyards, swag, and catering! Thank you, Khai Nguyen, Yizhi Wang, Elaine Keung, Thiago Sanches, Joel Leal, Ben Johnson, Bobby Vogel, Beverly Peng, and Clara Ortez.

Fourteen presenters from the P50 Center and the HS rats community gave talks on their research and answered questions afterward. We showcased research posters detailing current research topics from Palmer Lab members Thiago Sanches, Daniel Munro, Ben Johnson, Joel Leal, Apurva Chitre, Den Chen, and Faith Okamoto.
