Montana Lara receives IMGS travel scholarship
Dr. Montana Lara received a travel scholarship from the International Mammalian Genome Society (IMGS) to attend the 39th International Mammalian Genome Conference in Reykjavík, Iceland on April 7-10, 2026.
At the conference, Montana presented her talk, “Multivariate genetic analysis of addiction-related behaviors in HS rats.”
Montana also recently received the DeLill Nasser Award for Professional Development in Genetics from the Genetics Society of America! This grant is awarded to help enable attendance at a scientific meeting, participate in a lab course, or connect with the broader genetics community.
