Lawrence Xu begins rotation in the Palmer Lab
Yixuan (Lawrence) Xu joined the Palmer Lab in August 2026 as a rotation student in the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology PhD program.
He graduated from UCSD in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology: Bioinformatics and Biochemistry. He previously studied brain lineage tracing through somatic variant calling.
Outside of the lab, Lawrence enjoys watching movies, reading books, and trying out restaurants in San Diego.
