Jonah joins the Palmer Lab after completing rotation!
Jonah Pacis began a rotation in the Palmer Lab in Spring 2026, and he has now been advanced to full lab member!
Jonah is a graduate student in the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology PhD program at UC San Diego. He graduated from Swarthmore College in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Computational Biology. He previously studied sleep and the effects of diet on behavior in the planarian flatworm.
Outside of the lab, Jonah enjoys language learning (Portuguese, Japanese, & Spanish), swimming at the beach, and enjoying a pot of tea with friends and family.
