Zachary Tatom joins the Palmer Lab

Zachary Tatom joined the Palmer Lab as a postdoctoral scholar in October 2024 after receiving his PhD in human and molecular genetics from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

He previously studied the behavioral genetics of voluntary alcohol consumption in Diversity Outbred mice in the lab of Dr. Michael Miles.

In his free time, Zack enjoys painting, cooking, and hiking and is excited about exploring everything that San Diego has to offer.

Welcome, Zachary!
