Brittany Leger and Dr. Palmer attend WCPG 2023 in Montreal
Palmer Lab graduate student researcher Brittany Leger attended the World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics (WCPG)/International Society of Psychiatric Genetics (ISPG) conference held in Montreal, Canada from October 10 to 14, 2023.
Dr. Palmer also attended WCPG—traveling directly from the CTC meeting in Memphis, Tennessee, earlier in the week.
Brittany presented the poster, "Rare and Common Variants for Problematic Alcohol Use Identify Overlapping Gene Networks," co-authored by UC San Diego researchers (Brittany Leger,) John Meredith, Sandra Sanchez-Roige, and Abraham A. Palmer. Their work illustrates the use of network biology to integrate rare and common-variants to investigate mechanisms of problematic alcohol use.
