Brittany Leger presents poster at annual Judd Symposium
Palmer Lab member and UC San Diego Biomedical Sciences graduate student Brittany Leger presented a research poster at the 19th Annual Lewis L. Judd Young Investigators Research Symposium on April 25, 2024.
Brittany's poster, titled "Rare and Common Variants for Alcohol Consumption Identify Overlapping Gene Networks," showcased the findings of a forthcoming publication in Alcohol: Clinical and Experimental Research: ”Rare and Common Variants Associated with Alcohol Consumption Identify a Conserved Molecular Network” (authors include Brittany S Leger, John J Meredith , Trey Ideker, Sandra Sanchez-Roige, and Abraham A Palmer).
Dr. Palmer attended the Judd symposium in support of Brittany and his UC San Diego colleagues from the Department of Psychiatry (DOP), including the keynote speaker, Marsida Kallupi.
"Deciphering Addiction Vulnerability: RATTACA, a Novel Genomic Approach to Predict Cocaine Use Disorder Susceptibility in Rats."
