Palmer Lab attends SfN 2024 in Chicago

Eight members from the Palmer Lab attended the 21st Annual Meeting of the Complex Trait Community | Rat Genome & Models held at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from October 2 to 5, 2024.
The 10th Annual P50/P30 Retreat was held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the University of California San Diego.

Dr. Palmer was invited to present at the third Gordon Research Conference (GRC) in Newry, Maine on August 18-23, 2024.
He gave a talk titled “Studying Intermediate Phenotypes to Elucidate the Genetic Basis of Substance Use Disorders” during the concurrent Neurobiology of Drug Addiction meeting.
Dr. Palmer hosted and presented a talk at a summit for fellow Glo1 researchers at UC San Diego on April 19, 2024. The summit was an occasion for researchers who are working on Glyoxalase 1 (Glo1) to meet and hear about one another’s projects.
Palmer Lab member and UC San Diego Biomedical Sciences graduate student Brittany Leger presented a research poster at the 19th Annual Lewis L. Judd Young Investigators Research Symposium on April 25, 2024.
