Palmer Lab attends CTC 2024 in Milwaukee
Eight members from the Palmer Lab attended the 21st Annual Meeting of the Complex Trait Community | Rat Genome & Models held at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from October 2 to 5, 2024.

On October 3, Faith Okamoto* presented "Y and mitochondrial chromosomes in the heterogeneous stock rat population," Apurva Chitre presented "Genome-wide association of adiposity in heterogeneous stock rats," Thiago Missfeldt Sanches presented "PipeRat: A high-throughput python package to perform and visualize large-scale genetic association analysis," and Abraham Palmer presented "Introducing the Center for Genetics, Genomics, and Epigenetics of Substance Use Disorders in Outbred Rats."
On October 4, Denghui Chen presented his poster, "Structural variants in heterogeneous stock rats."
On October 5, Montana Lara presented "Genome-wide association study of cocaine use in Heterogeneous Stock rats," Brittany Leger presented "Identifying the shared genetic signal from genome-wide association studies of externalizing and locomotor activity," and Oksana Polesskaya presented "Genome-wide association study for age-related hearing loss in CFW mice."
Faith Okamoto*, Apurva Chitre, Montana Lara, Denghui Chen, and Brittany Leger also served as session moderators.
